Blade Runner

Set in Los Angeles 2019, Rick Deckard (Ford), is forced out of retirement to become a "Blade Runner" who's sole job is to track down bioengineered beings known as replicants and "retire" (destroy) them.

Four Tyrell Corporation built Nexus-6 replicants are fixed with only a four-year lifespan and have returned to Earth illegally suspected to have come to try and extend their lives. Aside from Deckard's "passionate" behavior toward Rachel (Sean Young), we reminisce on the various "rapey" characters Harrison Ford has played from, Indiana Jones, Han Solo and Rick Deckard to… Dr. Richard Kimble? We discuss the nightmarish aesthetic of the movie, Ford's recent plane crash and his new forehead scar, how to safely guide a plane to an adventurous crash landing, the dangers of golf, the other actors ahead of Ford for the role of Deckard, Blade Runner as one of the first DVD's, what is it to be human, Jabba The Hutt walking around, the incredible hunting powers of an owl and the people who worship them, Nexus -6 Daryl Hanna's Best-Death scene and how thankful we are that the original cheesy ending was chopped from the directors cut.

We close out the evening by dusting off our boots and sombreros before frolicking off into the sunset like Harrison Ford from Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade…but less rapey, more ridey.
